===========================================================================
Welcome to American Girls! Also included on this disk are some hot
Quicktime VIDEO clips to introduce you to some of our other products!
Please glance over these paragraphs, and if you have any questions call us!

INSTALLATION:
Portions of this product require Apple's QuickTime for Windows, which is
included on the disc.
To install, run the INSTALL.EXE program in the \PC directory on the CD-ROM.
The installation is completely noninvasive and consists only of creating a
program group and icons in the Program Manager which point to the CD-ROM
drive applications.
YOUR NEW ICONS:
To begin viewing slides double-click on the USA icon. Allow 5-15 seconds
for loading.
While the program is loading you can turn the camera sounds off by
clicking on the little camera icon on the title screen.
There are twenty girls arranged on four screens of five girls each.
Use the Left and Right controller buttons to rotate through the
four screens (regions: North, South, East, West).
To see the slides of any of the models just click on one of the
pictures to load a set of ten slides.
Enlarge any slide by clicking on it.
Use the Left and Right buttons on the controller in the bottom left
corner of the screen to step through all the photos.
You can start a sequential slideshow of all ten by holding down the
SHIFT key while clicking on the Right button. Each slide will load
and display for five seconds each until you click on the image or
the controller.
Click the right MOUSE button to remove the controller from any full
screen enlargement.
Click on the photo or the Back [B] button to redisplay the slides.
The Left and Right buttons will rotate through the twenty models
when all the slides are showing.
At this point the Back button will return to one of the four
regional initial screens (North, South, East, or West).
The Quicktime PICTURE VIEWER is used to view the *.jpg files in the LARGE
directory. They are high color images that look great if you have the
hardware, and pretty good in 256 colors too. They're big files and may
take a while to load.
In 256 color mode, the optimised 8-bit images in the MEDIUM and SMALL
directories look best. In higher color modes the LARGE images look best.
You may find it more convenient to load the image files into the picture
viewer by dragging them there from the File Manager. You may drag and
drop multiple files as well.
The Quicktime MOVIE PLAYER can be used to view the *.mov files in the
\PREVIEWS directory of the CD-ROM. These are short clips from:
Hidden Obsessions starring Janine Lindemulder
The Legends of Porn hosted by Jim Holliday
and just a taste of our next adaptive interactive product
The Dream Machine!
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
You should have a 386 or better CPU with 8-bit (256 color) or better
graphics, Microsoft Windows 3.1 and DOS 5.0, and a mouse. Your PC should
have at least 4MB of RAM, and a CD-ROM drive. A sound card is optional.
Be sure Windows is using a display driver that will provide 256 colors
(or higher). This product is not designed for 16-color displays. If your
colors look bad, run Windows Setup to install the display driver provided
by your video card manufacturer that supports 256 colors (any resolution).
If you don't have much video memory, select "640x480 256 color" in Windows
Setup.
If you have the capability, display modes higher than 256 colors improve
the execution speed.
Certain high-resolution video cards may require updated driver software
for correct operation of QuickTime for Windows. Please contact your
video board manufacturer to see if newer driver software is available.
NOTE: COLOR CONFLICTS can be caused by an incompatible high-color wall-
paper. If the program loads up in the wrong colors, simply quit, set the
wallpaper to [none] in Windows|Control-Panel|Desktop and run again.
